WHEN: DECEMBER 13, 2015 from 8am till NOON.

Bring ONE new unwrapped TOY and give to Santa Racer Daryl.  FREE  Coffee provided by Grace Roasters, concessions by Moondoggies and breakfast goodies.  Go Cart racing inside and special discounts.

All benefiting Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Sacramento. LLS will be distributing the toys to their patients for the Christmas Holiday.

Elk Grove Night at the Kings!

The Sacramento Kings have partnered with the City of Elk Grove for 1 of only 2 City nights at the Arena this season!!  Come show your City pride as the Kings take on the Houston Rockets on this nationally televised game on Friday, November 6th.  Tickets start as low as just $21 and 20% of every ticket sold will benefit the Elk Grove Food Bank Services.  With more than 4,000 residents relying on the help of the Food Bank monthly, these funds will go towards a great cause.

Mayor Gary Davis will be on-site to give out the key to the City to retired NFL player and Elk Grove High School alumni Lance Briggs, there will be special give-aways from the City, Elk Grove services on the concourse and so much more.  Bling out a homemade sign and you could be chosen for a seat upgrade!  Most importantly, bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Elk Grove Food Bank and you could also win an upgraded seat.

Help Community Business Bank Give Away $10,000 to Benefit Local Non-Profit

There’s no fancy party planned to celebrate Community Business Bank’s 10th anniversary. Instead, the West Sacramento-headquartered community bank plans to give away $10,000 to one lucky not-for-profit making a difference in Sacramento, Yolo, San Joaquin or Solano counties.

“For the past decade, it’s been our honor to help meet the needs of small businesses and not-for-profits in our communities,” said John DiMichele, CEO, Community Business Bank. “Our $10,000 give away contest is the perfect opportunity to express our gratitude to a local not-for-profit that is working hard every day to help those in need.” In addition to the cash prize, the winner will receive a full-page ad in thePartners in Philanthropyedition of the Sacramento Business Journal.

Cheer Sacramento donates $1,500 to Sacramento LGBT Community Center

Cheer Sacramento, Sacramento’s original “Charitable Cheerleaders,” has donated $1,500 to the Sacramento LGBT Community Center (1927 L Street, Sacramento).

Cheer Sacramento has been actively involved in the Sacramento community since 1999.  Cheer Sacramento performs and fundraises at various community events, including Sacramento Pride, the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” and the California International Marathon.  The team also provides scholarships to both high school and college cheerleaders.  Most recently, the team helped raise over $1500 for the Mustard Seed School.
