Cheer Sacramento donates $1,500 to Sacramento LGBT Community Center

Cheer Sacramento, Sacramento’s original “Charitable Cheerleaders,” has donated $1,500 to the Sacramento LGBT Community Center (1927 L Street, Sacramento).

Cheer Sacramento has been actively involved in the Sacramento community since 1999.  Cheer Sacramento performs and fundraises at various community events, including Sacramento Pride, the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” and the California International Marathon.  The team also provides scholarships to both high school and college cheerleaders.  Most recently, the team helped raise over $1500 for the Mustard Seed School. The team has even been in a Coca-Cola commercial as well as this years America’s Got Talent Season 10 commercial.  Click here for more information about Cheer Sacramento.

The Sacramento LGBT Community Center creates events, programs, and pathways to services that help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people feel welcome, needed and safe. We envision a Sacramento region where sexual orientation and gender identity and expression are recognized as a spectrum of valued personal characteristics, universally respected and affirmed.
