The talented Dr. Barham will demonstrate the use of a Surface Electromyograph (SEMG) imaging system at the next complimentary Wellness Education Seminar at Arden Hills on Thursday evening, October 8.  You’ll have the opportunity to see actual 3D images of your aching muscles to help in the recovery process.

Midtown Announces Rainbow Crosswalks Community Unveiling on October 10

Councilmember Steve Hansen, the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber and the Midtown Business Association (MBA) are proud and excited to invite the community to the unveiling of the Rainbow Crosswalks project at 20th & K Streets in the Lavender Heights neighborhood of Midtown Sacramento on Saturday morning, October 10, at 9 a.m. during the popular Midtown Farmers Market. Designed to celebrate the region’s LGBT community, the creatively designed crosswalk is similar to those installed in other U.S. cities, including Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle and West Hollywood, to name a few.

"We’re thrilled that the rainbow crosswalks project is coming to fruition,” said Councilmember Steve Hansen. "It represents the openness and diversity of Midtown, and celebrates the history of the LGBT community in the area.”

5 Local Museums to Offer Free Admission During “Museum Day Live!” on 9/26!

Five Sacramento area museums are joining the Smithsonian magazine “Museum Day Live!” nationwide effort by offering free admission to advance registrants all day on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

Participating local museums include the following:   Aerospace Museum of California, California Automobile Museum, California Museum, Maidu Museum & Historic Site and State Indian Museum.  The mission of the annual effort is to provide an opportunity for consumers throughout the United States to enjoy and share in our dynamic heritage and cultural institutions for free.

This  special monthly cooking class is focused on incorporating fresh ingredients  designed for a healthy and well balanced diet.  You're invited to join this ongoing adult cooking series and couples are welcome, too!   Due to the popularity of this  class, space is  limited and reservations are required.
