Sacramento Museums to Showcase Variety & Diversity With Interactive Booth at the State Fair

Back by popular demand, the Sacramento Association of Museums (SAM) will offer a fun and interactive booth at the California State Fair (July 10-26, 2015) in an effort to showcase the variety and diversity of offerings available in our region.   State Fair guests are invited to imagine, explore and discover more about local museums and destinations at the visually-exciting Sacramento Museums booth that will be located in Building B (northeast corner).

In addition to providing helpful information about the nearly 30 SAM member museums, the Sacramento Museums booth will include a number of hands-on activities every day that include the following:

ORANGE IS MY NEW SNACK!

Small tomatoes fresh from the garden.  Crisp bell peppers and chips.  Carrot chips!  They are a great compliment to any meal, right out of the bag or steamed for a few minutes.  You can find them in your produce section of your market.  The next time you are shopping for your veggies for the week, take your time to see what is new in your local grocery store or farmer's market.  Pre-cut jicama is a great time saver.  Snap peas, already washed and ready to go.  Add color and have fun while eating clean and healthy.
