You can find them in your produce section of your market. The next time you are shopping for your veggies for the week, take your time to see what is new in your local grocery store or farmer's market. Pre-cut jicama is a great time saver. Snap peas, already washed and ready to go. Add color and have fun while eating clean and healthy.

From learning more about art to archery or creepy crawlers to deep space, a dozen Sacramento area museums and destinations are offering special summer classes, camps and activities for kids.
Below is a listing of activities available this summer at various Sacramento area museums in 2015 but space is limited and camps are filling up fast. Parents are encouraged to connect with the individual museum(s) of interest to explore availability.

Four-Day Aviation Camp June 15-18; July 6-9; July 20-23 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. $225 Students ages 13-17
Summer campers will visit the United States Coast Guard Station at McClellan Field. Museum staff will also arrange for each student to take a free flight with a registered pilot.
