The Sacramento advertising business has an advocate in the Sacramento Ad Club.  This non-profit organization is the regional chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), which is a 100 + year old national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 advertising professionals.

Its missions is to "dedicated to improving industry standards through education and information, connecting professionals, and recognizing the stellar work done in our advertising community."

As part of that mission, the Sacramento Ad Club hosts monthly mixers called Kegs on Legs.  The location for the event changes every month, but what stays constant is the beverage, which is beer, and that the venue is a business in the Sacramento advertising industry.

This month Kegs on Legs was at Three29, which offered attendees a first-hand look at some of the projects, a meet and greet with their staff, and some fun with their foosball game.

The event generated a great crowd of professionals, who were the first to officially hear who the next president of the Sacramento Ad Club would be.

Rachael Lankford will be stepping into that position at the beginning of the chapter's fiscal year.  Lankford shared her desire to do the best job she could and encouraged the crowd of professionals to get involved.
